Episode #181 Stories, Storytelling & Parenting

Categories: Raising the Child You Have
Listen To Podcast

Inuit parents use storytelling to help children manage difficult situations. They do so without yelling and without scolding through stories, play and imagination. Here are a few of my thoughts on how we can learn from Inuit parents and create our own stories and narratives to raise children with kindness and understanding. This is the beginning of an ongoing conversation of reflecting on the stories that create meaning and connection in our lives and in our culture.

Love to hear your thoughts on stories, meaning-making, culture and personal development.
